THE BOY IN THE MASK
Sinkwa Productions is proud to announce that The Boy in the Mask a feature film being developed by producer, Jennifer Mostert was selected as an official fiction project of the Durban FilmMart 2014.
The Boy in the Mask is a message themed drama steeped in Venda culture and oral folklore that is set in rural Venda and Johannesburg.
A fire-ravaged face forces a young Venda boy to wear a carved mask to gain acceptance within his community. He chooses to undergo a series of painful reconstructive plastic surgeries and in foregoing his mask he forces everyone around him to drop their masks.

Producer and occassional Director, Jennifer Mostert founded Sinkwa Productions to provide her clients with cost effective production solutions for television programming, documentaries, TV commercials and corporate communications. Sinkwa Productions makes use of an extensive creative and technical crew network to source the right people for the job on a freelance or contract basis.
